Trading
Hard limits
Capped slippage, price impact shown upfront and a guaranteed minimum received.
What it is
Three guard rails on every swap:
| Limit | What it does |
|---|---|
| Capped slippage | Slippage cannot be set above a cap |
| Price impact upfront | You see the price impact before you sign |
| Guaranteed minimum received | If the trade would return less, it does not fill |
How it works
The guaranteed minimum is part of the transaction. If the chain moves against the route between quote and inclusion and the output would fall below the minimum, the transaction reverts.
Limits
- A reverted trade still uses gas.
